Why Talking is Therapeutic

Season #4

Talk therapy helps to change the brain and teaches us how to rewire our past pain and trauma.  The work done in therapy often sticks. This means, as new struggles and dilemmas come up, we have more and more tools at our disposal from having reflected and learned about ourselves, and about how others and the world operate. With this knowledge, we can use those tools to live with more resiliency and ease than we ever could before.
