Sensitive and Confused: Finding Stability in a World of Emotions

Season #7

In talking about my own experiences, I realized that confusion, especially among sensitive folks like me, is a big deal. As a kid, I was always trying to figure out why my family reacted the way they did, like getting super emotional over football but not showing much feeling otherwise. For instance, My grandmother's simple yet confusing advice on food choices was a significant learning moment for me. These early experiences left me pretty baffled and trying to piece things together.

I also noticed how this confusion followed me into my relationships, especially when dealing with manipulative people. I guess lots of sensitive kids end up taking on too much responsibility, trying to fill gaps they see around them, which just adds to the confusion.

But I've learned a lot about stepping away from that confusion. It's about trusting yourself and not getting swayed by others' manipulations. I've been encouraging others to see the difference between being genuinely confused and being made to feel confused. It's all about moving from feeling lost to feeling secure and stable. I hope this can help others who might be feeling the same way.
